Peppered Steak

Ingredients

4 x Sirloin steaks – approx. 8 oz each (227g)

90g Middleton’s Pepper Steak Coater

800g Chips

600g Garden Peas

16 Onion Rings

2 Tomatoes halved

Method

  1. In a bowl, add sirloin steaks and Middleton’s Pepper Steak Coater, mix well.
  2. Using a griddle pan on medium – high heat, pan fry each steak for 8-12 minutes.
  3. Serve with a side of chips, garden peas, ½ a tomato & 4 onion rings.

 

Chef’s Tip:

Cooking suggestions, let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing

Medium rare – 2 mins per side

Medium – 3 – 3½ mins per side

Medium well – 4 mins per side
