Oriental Style Pork Stir Fry (Chinese Glaze)

Serves 4

400g Lean Pork, cut into strips

1 x 60g sachets of Cooks Choice

Chinese Dry Marinade

450g Stir Fry mixed veg (Pak Choi, sliced mixed sweet peppers, Mange Tout, Baby Corn, Baton Carrots, Bean Sprouts)

2 Cloves of Garlic, finely chopped

Medium sized red onion, chopped

Ground nut oil or vegetable oil

Shredded spring onion to garnish

  1. Place the pork into a polythene bag, add in around two thirds of the Cooks Choice Chinese dry marinade. Shake the bag until evenly coated. Remove from the bag, place on an oven proof dish and set aside for 10-15 mins, for the marinade to develop.

  1. Cook on the barbecue or in a pre heated oven (180°C/Gas Mark 4). Cook the pork covered with foil for around 20 mins or until just cooked through. Remove from the barbecue/oven and keep warm.

  1. To a very hot wok or stir fry pan, add the oil. Once the oil is hot add the onions and the larger size veg and stir fry for 1 – 2 mins.

  1. Add the rest of the smaller veg, garlic, cooked Chinese pork and the remainder of the Cooks Choice Marinade Sachet.  At this stage you can add a little water if you feel it looks a little dry . Stir fry for around a further 2 mins.

Serve and garnish with finely shredded spring onion.
