Our Double Smoke Glaze Mini Pot delivers a bold, smoky flavour created from a carefully balanced blend of herbs, specially selected spices and hardwood smoke. The result is a rich, vibrant glaze with a distinctive smoke profile that works beautifully with chicken, ribs, steaks, vegetables or anything destined for the barbecue.

Designed for home cooks who want to add deep, smoky flavour without complicated preparation, these convenient mini pots make it easy to elevate everyday dishes.

While Middleton Foods produces the blend, our mini pots are not sold directly online. Instead, they are available through selected independent butchers and specialist food retailers – perfect for picking one up alongside your fresh ingredients to try the recipe below.

Double Smoke Beef Kebabs with Cajun Spiced Rice

Ingredients

800g Beef sirloin or rump, cut into 3cm cubes

80g Middleton’s Double Smoke Mini Pot Glaze

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 Red bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 Green bell pepper, cut into chunks

2 x 220g Packets of Cajun rice

 

Method

  1. In a bowl, add the beef cubes and Middleton’s Double Smoke Glaze, mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours (overnight for best flavour).
  2. Thread beef cubes and peppers onto skewers and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Grill or BBQ for 8 – 10 minutes, turning often until caramelized and slightly charred.
  4. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Microwave Cajun rice and serve cooked kebabs on rice.

 

Chef’s Tip:

Try serving with a drizzle of garlic yogurt dressing and a sprinkle of chopped coriander.
Don’t crowd the ingredients on the skewer, allow heat to circulate for even cooking.

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
