Rich, fudgy, and full of festive flavour, these chocolate orange brownie truffles are made using Middleton’s Fudge Brownie Mix for a decadent base. Blended with zesty orange juice and zest, then rolled in cocoa powder and icing sugar, perfect for gifting, snacking, or special occasions.

  • 170ml cold water
  • 3 oranges zested
  • Juice from 1 orange
  • Cocoa powder
  • Icing sugar

METHOD

Method

  1. Make up the 1kg ratio of the Middleton fudge brownie mix as per the instructions for a cake brownie
  2. Bake for 30 minutes at 170oC
  3. Leave the brownie to completely cool
  4. Once cooled, crumble the brownie into a breadcrumb texture, using a food processor or mash with a fork.
  5. Add the orange zest and orange juice and bring together to form a dough
  6. Roll into 20g balls and roll through the cocoa powder and icing sugar

 

Chefs Tip:

To make these extra special why not try adding you chosen liqueurs such as Cointreau, Cherry Heering or nutty ones such as Frangelico, amaretto, or Nocello (walnut liqueur).
