These Strawberry Flapjacks made with Middleton’s reduced sugar Flapjack Mix are quick and easy to prepare, perfect for caterers looking to offer lower sugar items on their menu. Ideal for schools, colleges and universities! Mix with water, then layer with strawberry jam and bake until golden and chewy for delicious Strawberry Flapjacks!

  • 1kg – Middleton’s Flapjack Mix
  • 120ml – Water
  • 170g – Strawberry jam

METHOD

Method

  • Add 500g Middleton’s flapjack mix, and 60ml water into a mixing bowl and mix for 20 – 30 seconds
  • Press firmly into a parchment lined 800g size baking tin.
  • Spread surface evenly with 170g of jam.
  • Make up another 500g – 60ml mix and press firmly over the jam layer.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 170oC in the Turbofan. Baking times may vary depending on type of oven used.


Chefs Tip:

Garnish with roasted desiccated coconut.
